Poison Arrow (draft)
In the water, deep in the water i can make out a outline of your face and it soothes me right back to the day before the one you came into my space
there's some things that i don't care for that my mother told me i'd be right to fear and you stung like a poison arrow that's been held inside my soul for years
There's that feeling, so appealing it's the healing of the rift that broke apart in no hurry, all my worries left behind me in a still and silent heart
sometimes I wonder whether I'll go up to heaven or if darkness is the way And that burns like a poison arrow that's been caught within my soul all my days
if I'm the sun then you're the snow sublimed and carried out to grow the clouds to rain down on the miles- and miles why don't you just rest a while
once I dreamed there was a war now I don't dream that anymore but in the victory I'd shine and take it back what once was mine
